UNIUYO JUPEB Admission form for 2025/2026 is now on sale. The one-year programme prepares students for direct entry into 200-level across many faculties. Interested candidates should apply online before the September deadline.

The University of Uyo has rolled out its JUPEB admission form for the 2025/2026 session. The Basic Studies programme is a one-year course that gets students ready for the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board exams.





With the JUPEB certificate, successful candidates can jump into 200 level through JAMB Direct Entry. It is a recognised route, and every year students use it to gain entry into degree programmes without starting from scratch.

Admission requirements for UNIUYO JUPEB

Candidates need to meet these conditions:At least five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects related to the chosen field
Results must be from no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE O’ Level
Applicants will sit for a Computer Based Screening Test
JAMB score is not needed for JUPEB admission
Students who sat for the 2025 UTME may also apply

How to apply for UNIUYO JUPEB Admission

The cost of the form is Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Naira (₦15,500). Payment is done through the Remita platform, after which candidates can complete the online registration.
Steps for online applicationVisit UNIUYO e-portals
Select the Basic Studies link and create an account
Fill in details and click “Create Account”
Make payment either by bank or by card
For bank, print the invoice with the RRR number and pay at any commercial bank
For card, enter card details directly on the payment page
After payment, log back in with your RRR to complete the registration

Candidates should take note: the same passport photo used in registration will be required during screening and eventual admission. Wrong bio-data or photo will lead to automatic disqualification, so extra care is needed when filling the form.
