The Lagos State government has transformed the Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu to the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH).

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROPOSED 33 TAKE-OFF UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES

Admission will be open to all, irrespective of race, tribe, religion, sex or political leanings. For the take-off of the new university, candidates are to be admitted strictly to the 100-Level of the 33 identified programmes in Tables A-E, through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Direct Entry admissions will be in the 2023/2024 Session.

For admission to 100-Level through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), candidates should:Obtain at least five (5) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) or equivalent in relevant subjects including the English Language in not more than two sittings;
Score a minimum of points in UTME specified by the University to JAMB.
Pass the Post-UTME organised by the University.
