Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka has rescheduled the matriculation ceremony for the newly admitted students. The event will now take place on Friday, 16th June 2023. However, the orientation exercise preceding the matriculation will be conducted virtually. Further details about the virtual orientation will be communicated to the matriculating students. Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka has announced an update concerning the institution’s matriculation ceremony. The matriculation, which is an important event for new students, has been rescheduled and will now be held on Friday, 16th June, 2023.

Revised Schedule for the Matriculation Ceremony

The University Management, considering various factors, has decided to shift the matriculation date. The ceremony, which marks the formal admission of new students into the university, will now be held on the aforementioned date.

The matriculation ceremony will commence at 10am and will be held in the respective faculties’ premises. However, there are designated locations for certain faculties. Faculties under the College of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences will hold their matriculation ceremonies at the designated areas situated in front of the University library.
Virtual Orientation Precedes Matriculation

In the build-up to the matriculation, an Orientation exercise is expected to hold. In line with digital trends and in a bid to provide a safe and convenient experience for all matriculants, the orientation exercise has been planned to hold virtually.

Detailed information concerning the virtual orientation will be communicated to the matriculants in due course. This is expected to provide new students with a comprehensive understanding of the University’s values, expectations, and resources available to them.
