Paul Wae & Raybekah – “Chooku Chooku”

Singer, Paul Wae, sings with clarity and purpose. Born Paul Mogbolu, he uses his music to seek out specific experiences with an eye on blowing them up into big-sized singing phenoms. As a child growing up in Delta State, he was raised on a delicious cocktail of pop and highlife songs, taking in songs from icons like Micheal Jackson, and Stevie Wonder as well as Nigerian legends like Chief Osita Osadebe and Oliver De Coque.

Since launching a music career with an attention-grabbing spell as a contestant on the third season of the widely-viewed singing competition, The Voice Nigeria, where he captured the audience’s imagination with his powerful vocal performances and poise, Paul Wae has kept ascending. Songs like “E Don Do” and “Providence” among many others have provided ample proof of his talent and knack for melodies and songwriting. He just released his debut E.P “Diffusion”

Keen to show his artistic range, “Chooku Chooku,” the focus track on DiFuSion is a meld of Afropop and golden age R&B as he layers his innermost desires over the thumping percussion while adapting a dancehall cadence in tandem with RAYBEKAH.
