LASU 26th Convocation Ceremony Programme of Events



Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the dates for its 26th Convocation Ceremonies. Spanning from the 14th to the 22nd of June 2023, the week-long event features various ceremonies, including a press conference, sports competition for staff, religious services, cultural festival, convocation lecture, and awarding of diplomas and degrees. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, extends the invitation to all Graduands, Parents/Guardians, and the General Public




The Lagos State University (LASU) is pleased to inform all Graduands, Parents/Guardians, the University Community and the General Public of the upcoming 26th Convocation Ceremonies. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, on behalf of the Management and Staff of LASU, has shared the programme of events for this monumental occasion.


LASU Convocation Ceremony Programme of Events

The series of events leading to and including the convocation ceremony will occur from Wednesday, 14th June through Thursday, 22nd June 2023. The events are designed to celebrate the achievements of the graduating students and foster the spirit of the LASU community.
Pre-Convocation Events:Convocation Press Conference
Date: Wednesday, 14th June 2023
Venue: First Floor, Senate Chamber, Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Convocation Sports Competition for Staff
Date: Thursday, 15th June 2023
Venue: LASU Sports Centre, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.

Coconut Breaking and Cultural Festival
