The Delta State University of Science and Technology (DSUST), Ozoro, has released important information for all fresh students regarding the Matriculation Ceremony for the 2022/2023 academic session. The ceremony has been scheduled to take place on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 10:00 am in the Events/Convocation area.

DSUST Matriculation Ceremony Details

The DSUST Ozoro Matriculation Ceremony is an important event that marks the official induction of fresh students into the university community. The ceremony will be held on Friday, April 14th, 2023, at 10:00 am in the Events/Convocation area. This event provides an opportunity for the new students to familiarize themselves with the university’s culture and traditions, as well as connect with fellow students, faculty, and staff.
Academic Gown Collection and Return

Academic gowns for the Matriculation Ceremony will be available for collection from Faculty Officers between Wednesday, April 5th, 2023, and Thursday, April 13th, 2023. Fresh students are required to return the academic gowns in good condition on or before Wednesday, April 19th, 2023.
Penalties for Late Gown Return or Non-Return

Students who fail to return their academic gowns on or before the stipulated time will be subject to a fine of ₦1,000 per day. Moreover, any student who fails to return their academic gown will be liable for the payment of ₦30,000 for gown replacement.
