Postgraduate Studies: For postgraduate aspirants, the scholarship extends to Russia (for those with a first degree from Russia), China, Hungary, Serbia, and Romania, covering all fields of study.
Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate ScholarshipsApplicants must have a minimum of Seven (7) Distinctions (As & Bs) in WASSCE/WAEC (May/June) in subjects relevant to their chosen field, including English Language and Mathematics.
Certificates should be no more than two (2) years old (2022 & 2023) for Non-African Countries and one year old (2023) for African countries.
Age limit: 17 to 20 years.
Postgraduate ScholarshipsApplicants must hold a First Degree with 1st Class or at least 2nd Class Upper Division.
Completion of the NYSC Programme is mandatory.
Age limit: 35 years for Masters and 40 years for Ph.D.
General NotesApplicants for scholarships in BEA countries, where English is not the primary language, should be prepared to undertake a mandatory one-year foreign language course in the chosen country, which will serve as the standard medium of instruction.
For Hungarian Scholarship applicants, the option to apply for up to two fields of study is available in order of preference.
